What Shared is
Shared helps you record shared expenses and see who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not hold, send or receive money, and balances shown are only as accurate as what you and your group members enter.
Your account
- You may use Shared without an account. An account is needed only for cloud sync.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app. See how to delete your account.
Content you share
When you share a group, the people you invite can see and edit its expenses, payments, comments, notes and shared receipts. Only invite people you trust, and only add other people’s names or contact details if you have a reason to.
You must not use Shared to post or share content that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies or abuses anyone;
- is hateful, sexually explicit, or exploits or endangers children;
- promotes violence, terrorism or illegal activity;
- is fraudulent, misleading or used to pressure someone into paying money they do not owe;
- infringes someone else’s rights or shares their private information without permission;
- is spam or malware.
Reporting and blocking
You can block anyone from their friend page, and report them with Settings → Report user. Reports go to the Shared team at shared@owaism.xyz. We review reports and may remove content or close accounts that break these terms. We aim to respond within 7 days.
Availability
Shared is provided as is. We work to keep cloud sync running and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep a backup with Your account → Export if your records matter to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, the app will tell you before they take effect.
